banned by ben & jerry's!

what a crime. jane and eric and barbara and rob and cathy and i went to dinner in the city on friday night, and just before we ate i received a disappointing email.

jane and eric's brilliant video submission to a ben & jerry's 30th anniversary contest was denied! is this corporate stodginess, or are ben and jerry simply too old to enjoy a good laugh? i hope the former, as the ice cream hippies are from my long island neck of the woods, and used to come to my high school and fill us up with free frozen dairy every spring.
